Nanshu

A hero in the Meiji Period, Saigo Nanshu, said it is difficult to manage someone who does not want fame or profit. [Laughs.] He said the most trustworthy person is the person who has nothing to do with name or profit. That is very true. All right? [Laughs.]   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Excerpt from Shunryu Suzuki lecture 67-04-22-A found onshunryusuzuki.com. Edited by DC - Many Shunryu Suzuki lecture excerpts on cuke.com - from there links to much more. Going slowly through Suzuki transcripts featuring whatever is next that seems okay.
